NextGen Award Winning Urban Living Home Comes to the 2009 International Builders' Show
LAS VEGAS – December 2, 2008 --- From January 20-23, 2009, Las Vegas will welcome an estimated 90,000 home building professionals from around the world as they gather together for the International Builders' Show (IBS), the largest trade show in the home building industry. As the industry continues to wrestle with a slower marketplace, home building professionals are finding it more crucial than ever to set themselves apart from their competition in an effort to survive the downturn, and many will be looking to the IBS for answers.
More than 1,900 exhibitors will fill the Las Vegas Convention Center during those four days - all embracing this year's theme of "Brighter Lights, Bigger Ideas." However, one of these exhibitors will gather together the hottest, up and coming products and building best practices, showcasing them all in a finished 2,000 square-foot home, built right on the parking lot of the Convention Center.
"This is the first NextGen zero lot line demonstration home” says Paul Barnett, president of iShow, the company responsible for all of the NextGen Demonstration homes. "With more and more people making the move back to the city, we wanted to feature an affordable home that opens up a lot of possibilities in a small footprint. The home is an excellent alternative for those who want a city lifestyle, but not a condo experience.”
