What is a manufactured home?
Manufactured homes are factory-built homes engineered and constructed in accordance with the federal building code administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The HUD code was established in 1976. Prior to that time, manufactured homes were referred to as mobile homes. Manufactured homes may be single- or multi-sectioned and are available in various sizes and floor plan configurations.

Champion has a long history of providing quality manufactured homes as the affordable alternative to site built and other types of housing. As one of the largest manufacturers in the country, our homebuyers benefit from our ability to purchase building materials, including interior features and appliances, in large quantities resulting in lower costs. From years of experience we have developed advanced engineering and construction methods to ensure we continue to provide affordable and quality-built manufactured homes.
Quality
Champion manufactured homes are built in a controlled factory environment, which means every part of the home, from the front door to the bathroom sink, is protected from vandalism and weather-related damage. Our technicians, craftsmen, and assemblers are well trained and professionally supervised resulting in quality that is built-in. Finally, every home we build is regularly inspected during each phase of the construction process to ensure the home meets our high quality standards.
